I asked about this back when we were based in ORL. Tired of the wait till it becomes a problem attitude.

Mr. Hrdlndg:

Just don't forget how to activate the 'chute. From what you and others have said, it won't be long until you need it.

G'Day and G'Luck !!

I worked there in a non-flying position a few years ago, and even at the peak with 26 aircraft some were close to TBO with no plan whatsoever for when the engines ran out. Sad to see how they've ended up. There was potential to the idea, but some bonehead management decisions even back when I was there.

Good luck to those left.

JD and HrdLanding is BJ still flying there?

WOW. I have not kept up with SatsAir but from about 27 aircraft to 6....ye gads.

I would imagine that for the cost conscious business traveler, driving has become the more prudent choice...or a conference call...tele-conferencing, etc. I guess the maintenance long term planning wasn't too good although the industry news says overhauled engines are on the way. Of course....so is Christmas.

G'Luck to all still there.
