Default 135 TSA question

If you work for a part 135 operation can you use your badge/uniform to carry your liquids and bypass screening lines at the airport?

2 different worlds, and 135 uniforms/badges? The only ones that might qualify would be Cape Air because they run 135 scheduled airline service, but not too many that work that way.

If the airport has a crew pass line, then you should be able to go through that line and be able to carry your liquids through security without any restrictions. From what I understand, you must be in full pilot uniform and have the proper ID to use that line. Its still a new concept at this point, so very few airports have this.

you really need to be in uniform to get the gold treatment so to speak. It doesnt matter if you arent even a pilot, they dont know the difference.

Not like they'll know anyway. As long as you're wearing a uniform you could have a badge with your name written in purple crayon and you'll be all set.

Yes, I did it countless times when I worked for a part 135 freight company.

I've been through a few and each is different. Hasn't been standardized yet. Oh, wait,... does anything that TSA have a hand in, been standardized?
