Can 135 check rides replace BFRs???
Does anyone know if a 135 checkride can substitute for a BFR??? I havent seen anything in the regs that says it does...I know it would make sense that it would...but you never know with the FAA.

Teezy,
There was a discussion about this in the Aviation Law section. However, it pertained to SIC type rated pilots getting their checkrides in lieu of a BFR. Not sure if it will help, but here it is: http://www.airlinepilotforums.com/av...ht-review.html |

But that is what I figured they meant, but I never like to ASS-U-ME (assume) the FAA is using common sense.
Couldn't help myself, sorry lol :D |
In addition keeping yourself 135.340 current is a basis for renewing your CFI. All you need is to fill out the 8710. I haven't taken a Flight Review or paid to renew my CFI in a while.
