Default Part 135 Pilots: Do you use an EFB?

Let's see what people are using for their plates, charts, and other cockpit documents and services lately. Tell us what you are using (iPad 1-2-3-4-Air- mini, other) and what host software (Foreflight, WingX, Garmin, Jeppesen, other) and whether you think it helps your safety.

iPad 2 with Foreflight here. I used to also carry current paper charts on me but my company carries them in the airplane, so I stopped wasting my money (as well as the fact as I have Foreflight on my iPhone just in case)

I mostly fly single pilot, with my company and just for fun, and think that the iPad definitely helps safety over flipping through that AFD and other charts, especially on those IMC days

Our company isn't approved yet for an EFB. We are seeking approval. I prefer to use an iPad with FltPlan Go when I fly for fun. I also use it for flight planning and filing up until we taxi while operating 135. After that, it's all paper.

Just paper but I have my own vintage IPad 1 with Foreflight that I use for planning and extra SA when going to unfamiliar airports.

Company I work for just got approved. Currently on trial period. I have ipad3 and use foreflight. I think it's a whole lot easier to use , ability to access information quickly . I use it with Stratus.

iPad 2/3 with Foreflight (USA and Canada) and Jepp Mobile FD for Latin/Carib...and the rest of the world when needed. Enhancing safety? Having something now rather later might have an impact. So, digging through paper or entering something in a search box can save time perhaps. Some of the cool features that Foreflight provides (moving map) we can't use, but if it were an emergency...who wouldn't use it. And viewing your position on the taxi diagram would be a good tool. That (position on taxi) requires a Pro subscription on Foreflight, which we don't have.

Ipad mini x2 with Jeppesen. The taxi diagram with current position enhances situational awareness big time. Fltplan.com for flight planning, APG for takeoff data, FOS mobile scheduling, Aeroweather, MyRadar, Intellicast, FileSync for all company manuals and documents. The company has done a fantastic job of making necessary information available and easy to find.

My only suggestion for improvement would be to issue the ipads to the pilots and not the aircraft. Most of the information is available on the company iphone, but some applications work much better on the ipads.

iPad 2s x 2 going to the iPad minis soon from what I heard. Use fore flight and jepp, but jepp is going away at the end of the month.

I love it cause all our manuals are on the iPads and make things a lot easier to use.

Ipad 2 with foreflight. All company manuals on the ipad as well. I love not having to do manual revisions.

Our setup is kinda overkill with charts that we display with our PROLINE 21 screens, plus two IPad 3's, Foreflight, AIRINC for all flight planning & performance, all company manuals, FAR's, memos & AC Circulars electronic, plus wifi above 10,000 & enroute paper backup.

Going through the 135 6 month testing process now for eventual approval.
