So a guy kills someone on an overnight off duty and it is Key Lime's fault? I guess I'm missing something.

No - - you aren't missing anything.

People and their own agendas.

Pilots in general often complain when the media reports that this person or that person is a pilot of some airline when reporting some story. They decry 'what does being a pilot with XXXXX have to do with anything!'

But if something happens to a pilot from a pilot group/airline that you happen to have some high school disagreement with - then this group is the first to call someone out by pilot group - as was the case with this post.
