Key Lime Air
One of my buddies copied me in on this... looks like things are improving. Originally posted on another board.
I can forward what ever questions along and see if I can get some clear answers.
Key Lime is still looking for Navajo and Metro pilots, and due to an extreme change in management, the company morale and outlook has improved drastically. Please read my entire post before replying.
Requirements for Navajo:
Part 135 IFR single pilot minimums (1200 hrs, etc.)
CMEL, Instrument
12-month training agreement
Navajo Pay:
$80 a day for out-and-backs or half-days
$20 per diem for all-day routes, no per diem on half-days
$200 monthly bonus
Requirements for Metro:
3000 total
1000 multi PIC
CMEL, Instrument or ATP
18-month training agreement for type-rating
Metro Pay:
1st year base salary: $37,400 (based on 4 days of flying)
1st year additional flying: $80 per half-day, $150 per full day
Annual $1,000 salary increases
Annual increases to non-salary pay
Annual 14% retention bonus (one year after completion of your contract)
Across-the-board benefits:
Key Lime pays 100% of employee's medical and dental insurance premiums
401k with matching (100% first 3%, 50% next 2%)
1 week vacation after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2 years, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years.

Typical Navajo flying is anywhere from 4 to 6 days of flying a week. Metro schedules are fairly mainstream regardless of route. It's the typical UPS schedule. You'll find it at any UPS feeder. Monday night through Saturday morning. AM work is from 5am to 7-9am and PM work is from 6pm to 9pm. You get your rest at the outstation.
Navajo pilots can expect to live and be based in Denver. For Metro pilots, I would STRONGLY consider moving to your outstation than living in Denver. You'll save yourself a lot of heartache and time than trying to commute.
Typical upgrade time from Navajo to Metro is 1 year (hence if you cannot upgrade in one year, your agreement will be over and feel free to leave.) 2 years minimum of flying the Metro before flying on our passenger subsidiary, Denver Air Connection. DAC aircraft consist of Metroliners, EMB-120 (Brasilia,) and the new DO-328JET. Plans are to add more EMBs and DO-Jets in the near future.
The unpopular SIC program is no longer being utilized. We had 2 pilots come through in the last couple months and after they finished, the program was disbanded. You will NOT have to fly with an SIC and "train" them.
I know there is a lot of hate on the interwebz for this company. With our new management, they are trying very hard to make this company a good place to work. Our CP and DO were both former line pilots. They know what it's like to be out there busting ass to get the job done. If you have a problem or a concern, they take care of it immediately. So much of what you have read or heard from people, even if they did work here even 2 years ago, is no longer viable. I will be open to answering any questions.
Thanks.

Keep in mind very few of those bases are left. Most pilots live there. Hopefully key lime will use a bid system for their floating metro guys. Perhaps a four on three off deal! Fingers crossed!
