You guys are probably the nerds that stroll through the terminal with Flightsafety CREW tags & FLY tags on your cars. Tips are for people who aren't paid enough. I wouldn't brag about your boss giving you a tip for loading his pooch carrier onboard. Clearly he isn't paying you enough.

You guys seriously know how to make a mountain out of a molehill: I wasn't aware that the 121 world was so prestigious that it has to be sheltered from all other "inferior" forms of aviation.

I was making a statement in response to all the bashing going on here. I was under the impression that this was a thread regarding KCM... Guess I was wrong

You're right though, I've never seen a bus driver get a tip before.. What are the regionals paying these days? Oh right, they're giving "hiring" and "retention" bonuses to honey dick the pilots into accepting wages that are still sub par. Have fun spending the day on Amazon agonizing over which lanyard you should proudly display through the terminals next.

Anyways, 135 companies are required to do the same background checks/jump through the same hoops as 121 applicants have to. I really don't see the big deal.

I wouldn't mind the 135 guys using KCM if they would pick up the check once in a while. What was the last benefit the 135 has negotiated that benefited 120 guys also? Why must ALPA do all the heavy lifting and 135 guys do all the coattail riding?

I was pointing out the fact that you can lose your job flying 135/91 and get another job that makes more the next day. Try that 121. I was taking your side.

My mistake, I misinterpreted what you were saying. I apologize for jumping to that conclusion.

This is silly. I believe, but could be wrong, that you are an FO at B6. If that's correct, you are making no where close to what most corporate captains are making. Get off your high horse. I used to be a 135 guy, but now have a job VERY similar to yours. It's like you're trying to brag about something you're not?? Can't quite put my finger on it. Anyway, all in all, well, I won't say what I was going to say about piloting skills of airline guys vs corporate guys. After all, if I don't have anything good to say, I just won't say it. Actually, it seems like you're sort of a troll in this particular thread?? Just sayin.

Ouch... I never worked for netjets, but I give them credit for raising the bar on many fronts. Can't remember exactly what some teamsters regionals have added lately..??
