The glide ratio is great and the PT-6 is a great engine. I would feel very confident in this plane in an engine failure.

I think this company is onto something, have finally cracked the code. I also think aircraft such as the PC-12NG are going to play, not just a significant part, but a big role in the future of corporate aviation. I was skeptical and a vocal hold out regarding the SE aspect until more recently. I think a professionally crewed PC-12 is a great option/way to go for a lot of folks. Without the added expense of a second engine, an owner should be able to pay the crew a fair salary as well, while still realizing significant savings.

Glad you guys feel safe with the equipment. I like seeing new ideas like this work out and I'm rooting for them.

The after take off upon Pilot monotoring is :

Gear up, yaw damper on, lights off.

The lights are located at the top left hand side of the overhead panel. We shut off landing and taxi lights off after take off.

It's a beautiful airplane.

Thanks for the response. I have been thinking about Surf Air for awhile. I Have been at Endeavor Air/ Mesaba for eight years. With two kids now, the commute from SFO to MSP is starting to be a little much.

It's also a single pilot airplane. Add the F/O's pay to the C/A's and it starts looking a bit more sane...ok a bit less totally INsane to try to live in California on.

Why not apply to Virgin America? Skywest probably also offers an SFO base. You have other options....
