Default Wanted: Time Building, Chicago area.

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for an airplane that's relatively easy on the wallet, and located in the greater Chicago area.

Looking to build about 50 hours. Would also be interested in any part time work.

Maybe someone else in the area is also looking to build time/split costs?

Thanks for your time!

I'm looking to build some time as well. Aurora isn't bad to split the costs and they have 172S models with G1000's in them. Over the summer the owner of Cushing field in Newark was going to setup a time building special. I haven't heard anything else on it and I don't remember the cost but it was really cheap like $60-$80 wet.

Cushing Field (0C8) has Build Time Cheaply (Bud's new venture) offering Cessna 152s for $69/hr wet in ten hour blocks, 172s for a little more, and he just picked up a Yankee (Grumman AA1A) last night. PM me for details, phone number etc & to arrange a time. The aircraft are basic steam gauge trainers with autogas STCs. The engines range from 200hrs+ SMOH to 500 till TBO. Some/most are IFR capable.

There USA traffic watch gig out of Dupage that's got openings from time to time. Low pay but decent amount of flight time.
