Default ACE Air Cargo

Anyone know anything about ACE Air Cargo flying B1900 out of Anchorage? They don't state any of their requirements on their site.

This is the only information I was able to find. "First Officer Pay: Year 1 starts @ $35.00. After 500TT pay goes up to 37.50/hr. After 1000TT pay goes up to 40/hr. Average flight time per month is 80hrs."

Does anyone know if that means you can get hired before 500TT?

Yes, it's a 135 operation. I don't know much about them these days since I left AK years ago. But they have had a rather checkered history.

You can with a fresh commercial multi. Familiar with the company.

I've spoken with them recently. They will hire with less than 500 if you have internal recommendations. Expect about 1 year to upgrade. Upgrade/Type/ATP is on a handshake that you will stay a min of another year. They offer lots of little bonus pay incentives. Expect to work nights and crummy shifts and be busy moving cargo. Best bet is to go in person. They aren't very interested in waiting on folks to move from the lower 48.

I shoot them my resume a few days ago as well. Haven't heard back yet. what could I expect if I walk in to their office with a resume? I found a few operators in Alaska that I might have a chance. don't mind plan a trip up to Alaska and talk to them in person.

What these guys have said is all true. Also, the 135 medevac world needs guys, as do some of the smaller operators on lake hood. Although the seasonal operators have probably picked up everyone they need for this year.
