TransPac

TransPac is a great place to instruct. As a line IP you can log as many hours as you want (there are always extra flights that need to be covered). Also, you get paid well above the national average which is salary pluse a great bonus structure. Along with that you will be in the multi w/in 8 months of starting, it is not like other schools where ony the most senior IP's get to fly the twin. As far as managment goes we have a very dedicated group of individuals that make sure any new instructor has all the recources and advise required to be sucessfull. Last if you work hard for them they will work hard for you. For example all cfis have the opportuity to go through the ACE (CRJ jet transition) course free of cost. Management is dedicated to see the IP's have the best chance possibe to advance there career.

If you are a good cfi and put 100% effort into your job it is easy to maintain a high checkride pass rate. Our students do provide alot of challenges, but for the most part they are very smart, very dedicated, and if given a task they will complete it.

What is the instructor schedule like at TransPac? Do you have to work 7 days a week like many of the other academies? Do you have flexibility or are you at the mercy of scheduling? What is the average day like?

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 10:23 AM.
