When I worked there I was at about 60hours multi when hired. I'm not aware of anyone hired with only 5 hours multi, I'd be pretty surprised if that were true, but that might have been before/after my time there.

Either way, it was a quick way to rack about 1400 hours multi-turbine time before moving on.

Hey, sounds like a few of you are on staff. Recommendations since the only flight position posted says 750TT min and 75ME min and to not apply unless met?
Based in Az so a gig here would be great, but don't want to burn a bridge by not paying attention to a posting requirments and looking stupid.

Cool thread idea. I have great memories of my time flying the Otter, as exhausting as it can be sometimes! It's nice to have a cold beer handed to you after a long day of flying. And I can guarantee that you'll never have an issue with stick and rudder skills at any job in the future after doing 20+ crosswind landings a day. Especially in the Otter with its huge tail and amazing nosewheel steering setup

I might be on might not be a current pilot at SDAZ, pm me for more info. We are so short pilots it's crazy, we have hired well below the posted mins if you have a internal req. Azflyer was one of our better pilots, and happy to have flown with him. The newest guy was a soaking wet commerical FYI. We fly a lot, you will get checked out in multiple aircraft ( sc7 dhc 6 and soon the caravan) if you want to build multi turbine pic at the largest drop zone then let's talk. The drive to Eloy sucks but it's bearable as there is no traffic, you will fly your balls off and get night time as well. Pay is below industry standard compared to other large drop zones but we are trying to change that.
