Default American Flyers

Hi All,

I have been doing some job searching for Aerial Photography and Jump Pilots but haven't had to much luck only having 250 hours. I am planning to start the CFII course late February in Dallas with American Flyers. Does anyone have any recommendations of where to live or anything. If you've ever gone through the program or know anyone who has, is it good and worth it?

Thanks in advance

Look at hotels in Addison and Plano area, that'll put you close to KADS.

Hey I just finished the 15-Day CFI with American Flyers at their Addison, TX location. My experience with them was great! It's also a classroom style setting which was awesome and I would recommend that over just one on one with an instructor. As far as places to stay I did Airbnb out of Garland which was a little bit of a drive. Most of the guys that were in my class did Extended Stay America which isn't far away.
My advice would be show up with your written tests already done! I didn't do that and took mine there which was fine, but I would of rather been studying other things than for my written tests. With that said they do written test prep which was great! I studied with Sheppard Air which is the way to go and get it knocked out! Anyways you will enjoy it and I will say it is a lot of information at once but you have great teachers/instructors and other classmates their with you. Let me know if you have any other questions!

talk to the folks at the American Flyers location there in ADS. They can set you up with cheap accommodations.
