I am not 100% sure if I am correct but you probably heard nothing because it appears all talks have stalled. I seen something somewhere that said they were 1-2 Trillion dollars apart. Trillion. That is why Trump did what he did apparently 🤷🏻♂️

I really can’t see it not going through just based on all the support from the senators, but who knows

My gut is saying the airlines are playing this perfectly. unfortunately it sucks for the 100k + employees who are the lambs being locked in the slaughter cage. They have been more than a bit loud that they will he laying off 30% of their employees wout help, and everyone in congress. esp the ones up for re-election are quotes numerous times says we MUST save every job and get people back to work. It sounded like the 25B was going to be passed wout much discussion on the floor But, what worries me is Maybe they will know the airlines are going to shrink so it’s inevitable to have layoffs. Then again, many believe the econ will snap w treatment and they still want the airlines servicing all the communities it currently does. Lots of moving parts, and congress is busy behind the scenes. Also, when you get to AA you better not land flaps full or you hate veterans hahaha. GD this sucks so bad for everyone. Hope they start hiring again soon for everyone at pdt. F rona and everyone who spread it this summer.

I think it'll pass if Mitch McConnell let's it come to a vote. I however don't think the self proclaimed "Legislative Grim Reaper" will suddenly decide to let that happen.

Why should it come to a vote if it is filled with pork? Look at the last bailout. Did the Kennedy Center really need money from the government? Wasteful additions to spending bills are going to cost 100,000 people their jobs.

It’ll get through fine as long as it’s the pork he wants. It’s both sides, and pork barrel politics is as American as apple pie.
