$5,000 grand isn't worth it to go to PDT. It's a sinking ship and the staffing problem is horrible, everyday you go to work you are never going to fly what you where suppose to. They fell way behind the hiring curve and I cant see how there going to fix it besides parking aircraft. Why go there when there isn't movement, shrinking fleet, and a 5 year upgrade.

To you Piedmont guys out there...Are you flying your max every month? It seems like if what everyone is saying is true about Piedmont hemorrhaging pilots, you must be. Also with more guys leaving, are there any prospects for upgrade times changing, or is it mostly seniority guys and F/Os heading out the door?

Some captains are leaving for the majors now, but the majority of people leaving are junior FOs. I don't think they are even going to consider upgrades until they have the FO probablem under control, many reserve captains spend more time in the right seat than the left at this point.
I have been flying a lot, I had 100 hours of credit last month and will probably break that this month. Double premium pay junior mans are available almost any time you want one. However, there is word that we are cutting flying starting in June, so I don't know what's going to happen at that point.

I left on the 4th of april, my credit for march was 106...from the guys I talk to that are still there, it's just getting worse. People are getting harassed for calling in sick, even if they haven't called in sick before.
What they don't understand is that people aren't going to stay if there isn't a future. I would've stayed if there was one. Living and being based in ROA for PDT was nice, but I'd rather live in ROA and commute to IAH for XJT than stick around a ship that will be sunk in 2 years.
