There’s a difference between a mistake (missed a taxiway or something that could happen to any of us), and choosing to make yourself a target for a few extra bucks on the side. Being an Instagram influencer is not part of his job. If you’re going to choose to make yourself a public figure in an industry that severely frowns upon it, I feel like you’re already beyond second chance territory.

Like someone said earlier, rumor has it he was almost terminated in the past for doing something really dumb but got saved due to internal connections.

He, in full uniform trashed the United crew from the Denver incident the other day. That they didn’t “aviate, navigate and communicate”, they didn’t get the bottles fired off fast enough, and made fun of the FO for stuttering on the radio during the initial call to ATC declaring an emergency.

Making a statement like that, in uniform, is making a statement on behalf of Piedmont and American, so doesnt surprise me they aren’t taking this lightly. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but you put on your company uniform, you’re speaking for the company and the brands that supports it. You don’t trash your fellow pilots especially after they did a solid job and landed the plane safely and get to fly another day, all of their people ended up in HNL that night on another plane.

Oh it gets better, from what I’ve been told through private chats, the “edgy” video was most likely an attempt to get his “subscribers” up past 100,000. Apparently that was a goal he was trying to accomplish by the end of the month, so it’s assumed he attempted to take advantage of the opportunity by essentially ripping his fellow pilots for more viewers.

Who knows what was going through his head, but I’m guessing it was an attempt to get more notice, which is pathetic, and he got burned. GOOD.

This was not his first warning, he better be fired for this, as pilots we should recognize individuals like Garre... for what they are, cancer.

Again, there’s a distinct difference between reveling in this and saying he may deserve it. I am not saying he should or shouldn’t get in trouble, I’m saying if you are enjoying watching this you are garbage.

I normally am not a fan of folks going after folks with online personalities like the moon man or what not. However, if he wanted to Monday morning QB the United crew. It would be difficult to defend the dude.
