That is what I am saying, that gouge was dead on when I interviewed. I would say that it helped me out as I was offered the job. It prepped me well for the written portion of the interview.

One huge thing to consider is if you are planning to commute. Piedmont strongly discourages it!

Just like every airline discourages it. About 3/4 of the pilot group at Piedmont commutes, especially after all the base closures of the past several years.

Well I currently live in Orlando now. Would it not be feesible to live in Charlotte even if I'm based in say Salisbury/New Bern/Charlottesville/etc...?

I hear ya I am just relaying what they said at the interview!!They do have a commuter clause at least...

Charlotte is pretty commutable to most of the bases toward the south. One leg commutes are not that bad, from what I hear. I personally live in base, but I know quite a few guys who commute - and they're able to do it. Charlotte makes it easy because there are so many flights out.

yea, if I do get the job, I was planning on taking new bern or roanoke. that way I can live in Charlotte and do a short commute.

Anyone know the likelihood of a Piedmont call back for someone with 300tt and 140multi? I know, very low times, but I figured I'd apply there because it's local.
