SOE is 35-40 cycles minimum...then you are on what's called High Minimums until you completed 100 cycles. You have various restrictions to what you can do until you complete those 100. 3-4 cycles per day??? My shortest day has been 4 and most of mine have been 5-6. What schedule did you get?

Thanks for the correction. Clearly my short term memory has gone all to crap. Mine was 40 cycles. I've had a decent number of 2 leg days lately which made the average number I came up with a lil smaller. Normal is anywhere from 2-7 cycles/day.

If it were 100 cycles and you averaged say 6 cycles per day then that is 17 days (rounded up). Say you average on the mid scale of 6 hours block per day that is 102 hours for SOE??

I do not work for PDT so I must be missing something or not adding right but if I am right than 102 hours is a TON of time of SOE to fly a dash. Maybe this is just the extreme high end in a range.

No training contract we were told SOE is a minimum of 25 cycles, but most people take 40-50 before they are signed off.
