Piedmont Raises Mins
 

Not a HUGE raise, but we just raised our mins to 500 TT and 50 ME. Which is interesting that we're even posting jobs cause supposedly all our classes are filled until September and crazy ol' Bobby Trout says that the classes are with 4-5 people max.

Make of it what you will....

Lets just hope they keep the upgrade minimums at 3000 for safety sake.

Why PSA has upgrade mins equivalent to those of ATP mins and they havn't had any incidents.

Part 135 guys fly more technical stuff than we do and while they have a hire incident rate than that of the 121 world its not nearly as dangerous as everyone thinks.

Really? Wow. 4-5 people max. That is interesting. I know a new class just started ground recently, not sure of how many people are in it, but I believe it was at the very least 10 or more from when I took a poke inside the window.

All the way up to 500/50......holy crap I wish they would have been that low when I was trying to get a job!

I think Im bringing them down from chicken land on tuesday. Nothing like a 5:50 show to get to ground school.

Our new class has 17 people in it right now, and yeah, we all came down to CLT on wed. morning, some on the 550 flight and some at 650, which ironically got to CLT about 3-4 hours before the flight that left at 650... chicken land... haha
