Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about the SYR flying? Old news Colgan is supposed to be pulling out of there. Does anyone think there is a chance of them reopening SYR as a Crew Base? It seems we are heavy on reserves right now and I am sure a lot of people would like to go back to SYR.
Or maybe because it makes sense and it might hurt managements pride if the reopened it, for that reason I think it will stay closed, but I don’t know.

I think the later part of your statement is true. Give it some time. There is no way Farrow is going to pay for that many hotel rooms after a few months. He will do what he always does; pass the cost it on to the employee. He just wants to keep it closed right now to prove his point that he doesn’t need it to be a base.

There are three RON aircraft on a Saturday evening in September. It is a result of parking the aircraft because of flights that were canceled by marketing. We don't anticipate SYR returning as a domicile at this juncture.

In addition to Michael's response above, if we have a sked with 3 RON's in SYR and it looks like it will stay that way for some time, we will very seriously consider reopening a SYR domicile. Our previous decisions to close, reopen and then close SYR were good business decisions based on the sked we had at the time and if it is a good business and people decision to reopen again we'll do that, no matter how it looks.
