Apparently, there is a United RFP out right now that AWAC is gunning for...

cross your fingers and hold your breath!

I can only keep them crossed by taping them into that position and I kept turning blue and passing out from holding my breath for other RFPs.

Sounds like they're just trying to change the subject away from the whole airways LGA pull out. The united RFP has been out for a while now, why bring up old news...?

Last I heard, I thought United wanted nothing to do with 50 seats.

Who said AWAC would flying the CRJ200 for them. Perhaps the 7,9 or dare I say the CRJ1000 finally has landed? :)

Probably why United alpa wants to lock down the 900 payscale.

I think it is United trying to find a way out of the RP/Shuttle deal. A no compete clause? Mesa should be safe with United they are cheap.

I hope Air Wis or Express Jet wins this RFP.

That apparently also applies to 98-120 seat aircraft.

Where can I find the RFP by United? Where does it say that there is one out there?

Without reading the first 65 posts on this thread, it seems to me from reading the main article that US Air is trading slots in Laguardia that are currently used by US Air Express (since they are keeping mainline flights the same) and getting 45 slots of Reagan National, which I believe will involve mostly mainline flights.

So US Air mainline is going to add more flights?

Sounds great to me
