I got Tinnitus a few years ago in my late 20s, from ear in headphones, I always kept the volume at 50% but still got it. As far as I know, there is no true cure for tinnitus. I have read ginkgo biloba helps, which I have been taking for about a year but has done nothing. I will try the B-6. Good thread, thanks for resurrecting it, as I'd bet many pilots suffer from this.

I've had it for years and have passed first class medicals. I don't think it's an issue. I kind of treat it as a secret relationship, no need bringing it up. It's annoying and I have to sleep with white noise usually(TV,fan, radio), but I've learned to live with it for the most part.

I also have a 'mild' case of it and was told the same thing. For what it's worth.

I got mine from a TPE331-UAR and a 9mm. I will give the suggested remedy a try as well. Thanks.

for those who are "trying" vitamins to get rid of the ringing...it's not just B6 but all the b vitamins that need to be replaced due to deficiency....if you google "ringing in the ear vitamin supplements" you will see the full list.

I will post below the full list of b vitamins from one producer of supplements (basically its B complex which you can buy cheaper) not sure if the post will be deleted or not.

You should also think about getting tested for vitamin deficiency from your GP as ringing in the ear is your body check engine light indicating you have deficiency in vitamins/minerals.
