Default PRK vision surgery

Anyone get PRK while actively employed as a pilot? How long did you have to take off work? I understand that vision can take a few months to stabilize, but it's still possible to obtain 20/20 vision with glasses until then... how often did you have to change your glasses prescription?

To the best of my knowledge, your have to wait until your vision stabilizes (your personal eye doc, not the AME, can make this determination). Then to CYA, you should probably get a 1C medical.
