Default Timing of Flight Physical

I injured my back moving boxes, I was given muscle relaxants and some painkillers but I have not taken them, as I don't think I need them, I simply have been stretching, hot tub, massages and resting.

My doctor (non-AME) wants me back in a couple of weeks for my back just to determine if I should proceed with physical therapy. I don't think I will need as I am recovering nicely. Can I still get my flight physical before that two week period is up? Or do I have to wait until after my non-AME doc sees me again? Thanks!

Yes you can. Just make sure to let your AME know about previous Doc visit. The only time you need to wait for flight physical is when you're out on medical for any reason and need a blessing from your treating physician to preceed.

Good luck with your recovery.
