Smile Major Airline Medical Evaluations

Does anyone know how intrusive these are? I've heard of Chinese Airline sniffing armpits? Do they check cholesterol levels? Blood test? I need to get into shape--ghheeez!

I know the AA one had a cholesterol check. They had a certain number you had to fall under. They're usually no more intrusive than a standard physical.

A Delta does a company physical for the interview. Does anyone know if they check your blood pressure? After two days of interviewing how can they expect anyone's blood pressure to be normal? It would be like taking a FAA physical before a checkride. Any info on this?

Blood pressure is a standard check on any physical exam anywhere. Keep in mind that medical personnel are well aware of "white coat syndrome", and besides, everyone else competing for the job gets the same exam.

I feel your pain...the white coat thing is probably the biggest PITA for me in this job.
