I'd be careful with that one, as it can really put wear and tear on your knees.

I don't need to lose weight. But if I did, I would seriously look at this: Healthy For Life

This doctor has had some pretty impressive results with his program. Study

I just signed up with MyPlate at MyPlate - Food Diary & Food Calorie Counter | LIVESTRONG.COM

It's free unless you want to Gold option and I cannot believe the cal. intake we have with the airport food, etc. It is a nice tool to track calories, plus you can also add your daily excersize routine to find out what you are burning.

Sparkpeople has the same thing, along with an exercise tracker too. OMG, the first week they ask you to just log the food in. No wonder why I gained so much weight.

Thread revival.

This was one of the biggest weight loss threads on the site that I found. I'm curious about updates from you all. What worked and what didn't? Did the weight stay off? Was anyone able to change their lifestyle because of this challenge?

Hey guys check out intermittent fasting- shrink your eating window and train in a fasted state. It goes well with this pilot lifestyle. Oh and btw, it costs ZERO

I do this along with keto. 69" and went from 190# to 160#, been there for almost two years now. Blood work has all gotten better too. Only complaint is that it's kind of expensive and it's a real PITA to find food eating out without being "that guy" (Hey...can I get the super double bacon cheeseburger, but no bun, and instead of fries can I get broccoli?). I've just learned to a.) not be a prick about it and b.) put my health ahead of my pride.

Yes, the opinions are mixed on this. I will say my Air Force flight doc is happy with it since all my metrics are trending the right direction (They were actually fine before though, but they are better now). Also, keto != atkins, so in theory it shouldn't wreck your kidneys.

This past December I weighed 270 lbs. I lost 70 lbs in 2.5 months.

That's amazing congrats. How did you manage that? I'm 36 and trying to drop 20 pounds without having to live in gym. Any tips would be appreciated. Also how old are you, thanks

I'm 46. I've spent almost all of my adult life working out, from sports in school to 22 years in the military. There was a 4 year time frame in which I was on medical leave and I got lazy and gained all that weight. I didn't do anything special. I got back into the gym 4 days a week, cardio 3-4 days a week on top of that and I spent most days at 500 or less calories. Normally that would just make me feel like crap, but I felt fine. I ate nothing but a few boiled eggs and a couple packs of tuna a day. I don't know if I should be used as an example. I've always been able to change my body pretty easy, even at my age. Also, give the fact that I've usually been in decent shape, I think that may have helped. I'm not saying it was easy, I just stayed consistent and the fat melted.
