Default AME in Dallas?

Sorry to bring this one back. Just moving to area looking for an FAA doc who realizes that this is a prerequisite for continued employment. Not looking for a NASA physical. I've heard of Krass and Griffin, also http://dfwfamilymd.com/flight-physical-pricing.htm and http://www.docfaa.com

Which is best?

Krass IS a pilot

Griffin is NOT a pilot

Griffin is super cheap but his clinic is like a vet/animal clinic. you get what you pay for. He will also do your eye exam while he pumps your blood pressure cuff, while you stand on a scale to get your weight

yes true

I am out on LTD for Heart and Diabetes. Kramer asked me for $1000 up front just to look at my records. I explained that I wanted to start the process to get back to work. He said sure "$1000" up front before we talk. Just FYI.
