Default Suggestions for low-stress Medical DFW

Hello...I'm new to the DFW area and wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a doctor in the area that generally has an easy going nature? The closer to Keller the better. Thanks

Griffin in Roanoke or Krass in Bedford. Griffin is much cheaper but it's my understanding that if you have any problems, you are on your own with the FAA. Krass and his staff know the system and have specialist in the area on speed dial in the event you have a problem.

Lr and DA20 Fo. Ameristar???

Thanks for the info! Not currently flying, but working on getting back into it. I was at Kalitta Charters in YIP.

Was at Krass today (he lives on my street in Keller and walks his German Shepherd by the house every morning). $94 1st class no EKG. Agree with comments above. I've been to both. Krass is a much "higher end" op that deals only with pilots (much nicer facility and extremely clean as well). His philosophy is he does not want you hanging out with a bunch of sick people. VERY helpful with issues. Griffin is the "ratings farm" of medicals - clean bill of heath = hand over the cash and get out. Everything seemed very rushed every time I went there. You can make it to Krass in 30 min from Keller - precinct line to harwood to forest ridge (this will bypass all the construction).

I know YIP. I used to fly MU2s out of DET and went to Alper down on Gratiot for medicals. Now that's an experience: $40 for a first class but it's right in the Detroit ghetto. They get the pilots behind the bulletproof glass as quickly as possible though.

FYI krass does Ross Perot's pilots (or used to) and back when Delta had a DFW base, he was booming doing DAL guys. I think that side of his practice has gotten slower.

I paid $160 for a First Class and ECG, cash only.

Very nice guy, prompt attention and "wants" to pass you. Is not out to get anybody. Does mission work in Honduras. Son is a neuro-surgeon.

Nice man, great heart.

** Not confirmed but I heard that Griffin got banned / privileges revoked Baylor Grapevine (large DFW metro hospital) due to patient complaints and/or not following hospital rules. Just FYI
