Default Hearing Aid / Headset Combo

In the process of ordering my first hearing aid. Just wondering from those who wear them now, what type of headset you use. I will probably have a small behind the ear aid with a tube that runs into the ear. Could I wear something like a Clarity Aloft with the ear plugs, or should I plan on something Over the Ear, like a Bose A20, or something in between, like a Telex 850?

I have a hearing aid as well and my AME just recommended any noise canceling headset. During my training, I had and really liked the Bose X.<br />

I would get something with noise canceling as the sounds from the engine would likely give you a headache other wise. Hearing aids aren't really good at canceling out loud noises. You will figure that out shortly.
