I always stayed wherever was cheapest. Quality inn, comfort inn the worst place and last resort is the Ramada on Woodlawn. If you are desperate it used to be 45 or so for the night.

Anyone who books a flight to Ft. Lauderdale ON THE DAY their cruise leaves port deserves to miss their cruise when their flight runs late or cancels.

I would hang at the airport before staying at the Quality inn airport or econo lodge next door. Especially with the 250/month from the company.

Not a big deal. It isn't your fault and you can just come the next day.

That would be a problem if you had another interview scheduled the following day!
Personally I would prefer to get there the night before and not deal with any of the other issues with taking an early morning flight, having to wake up at 0 dark thirty. But to each his own.

It is personal preference. Unfortunately, PSA doesn't pay for hotels, so that is $125 out of your pocket.
