Can you give us a detailed impression of your training, any particular issues with it (or your crew partner), quality, timeframe, etc. In particular, I'd like to know how long each segment was, how much time off you had between segments, and what you expect your total time (including SOE) to be.

First, stop believing the pilot group won't get a vote on a PBS LOA. Just because someone said it "could" happen without a vote, doesn't mean it will. Second, if PBS gets voted in, SAP would still exist. Do yourself a favor and use some common sense before jumping to conclusions on rumors.

For some (maybe even quite a few) CAK would certainly beat getting senior assigned to ORF...
At least it's more (geographically speaking) commutable.
If we open SAV, that would be four new crew bases (PHL, ORF, DCA) basically ON the East Coast. These are less commutable because there is no one to commute (by land or air) from further east to any such bases.
(OK, I know DCA isn't exactly on the coast, but for most practical purposes it is...)

I guess I was responding to the guy saying that a maintenance base was a prereq for PSA to open a crew base. Just saying I disagree because we would see CAK as a crew base again.... But I do think they will open SAV. But that's a guess.

That's what I said and not because I know anything(because I don't), it's just common sense. SAP and PBS gets a pilot vote because it impacts QOL, ALPA requirement. What we're talking about is a complicated agreement, late summer is way too ambitious. I doubt anything would get ratified and take effect before next year. Our pilot group needs to use a little common sense before believing rumors because it came from XYZ important source. A senior check airman told me two years ago that someone from the NC told them, "captain pay raises are right around the concer." I don't care who the source is, I'll believe it when I see it.
