I think a lot of people got their hopes up when Endeavor voted their pay rates in thinking we would follow suit, but now it looks like its nowhere in the near future. It is 100% fact that as long as we are filling classes there is no reason to get a pay raise.

Why did the regionals go the last 20 years without any pay increases up until recently? Because they were filling classes.

We'll get a new deal when it benefits MANAGEMENT to put forth a new deal...…… and not until then!

Until then, we will continue with bottom of the barrel pay and work rules.

The last three classes were 24 or less. A buddy of mine in one of them told me that management said this was by design to try to reduce the time off during training.

I have heard the same. Classes may be smaller but we’re still filling them based on what the company is trying to accomplish.

There's 300 plus on the seniority list in trn status. If they all make it through that's a bunch of pilots on the line. I suspect they want that process to speed up.

The lines in CLT have decreased by over 15%, CLT is not available for FO transfer no matter how senior (for now).
It would seem that PSA has more than enough FOs.
I suspect the company wanted to overstock FOs in preparation for the retirement bow wave; but until that wave arrives it would seem that movement will be relatively slow.

None of the above would support an improvement in pay or work rules.

I just got off a trip with a recruiter. Much to my surprise, we're still filling classes, and meeting/exceeding the quota the company wants.
