This happened to a buddy of mine this month.
There is however a section in the contract that spells this out. It’s in one of the examples. |
65 credit 18-19 days off. After the forced upgrade I expect around 30-40 hours of actual flying with 12 days off (unless I get out of here before then).

12 days? How’d you figure that with only 11 days off scheduled and a commute to your new voluntold base.

Best I ever did- over 147 hrs
credit with 14 days off, due to ccp and swapping trips out of base for those that were critical in others. You got to watch the reserve grid like a hawk to pull that off though. Usual- 85-90hrs with 14-15 days off as a very senior Clt fo. It’s possible to get 12 days off as a reserve and credit 75 hrs if you bid properly. On a side note- now that were “properly staffed” ccp shouldn’t be a regular occurrence so the days of crediting 120-140hrs with 13-14 days are long gone (most likely) |
Monthly credit
My monthly averages for this year as a Rd 1: Credit 102, Block 70, Days Off 13.
Pay claims are not difficult. I haven't had any issues and I submit them regularly. Not sure why some fuss about it. |

....and some of us who do, have more productive uses for our time than fighting with our employer to get them to pay what they’ve agreed to.
