How much flight time do you credit monthly?
 

I am curious what the average pilot credits on a monthly basis. Is the average around the 75 hour mark with a decent amount of days off? How does it compare to other regionals with trip credit per day, etc?

I don't know what the average is, but for me it's 65 hours/month. 16-18 days off. If they paid more, I'd probably work more, but for the current wages it isn't worthwhile.

Stupid question here. Is there a difference between credited and actual time flown? How significant is that difference? I understand that will absolutely be the case on reserve, what about when holding a line?

There can be. If you have a month with cancellations for weather, you are still pay protected for the time you didn't fly...assuming you're a line holder. You also have the greater of "scheduled block or actual flight time" that can sometimes add a couple hours of credit over what you actually blocked...if you also underblocked some legs.

For reserve pilots it's completely different. You'll get paid 75 hour guarantee, unless you exceed 75 hours of block time...which I believe is pretty rare.

I average about 75 - 85 hours of credit and anywhere from 13-16 days off /month. The most days off I’ve had here were 20 and I still credited about 70 hours by the end of the month. The most credit I’ve been able to manage was just shy of 130 hours of pay (when factoring in SDO and a trip that went critical) but that was with 9 days off.

Anywhere from 75-100+ depends on if I feel like working extra. I'm getting more and more frustrated with dealing with the open time pay claim BS. I must have missed the part of the job description where it says First officer/CPA.

Same. It’s rare that I do it. I mostly just fly my line and call it a day. I’ve been hearing increasing complaints about pilots having to battle with payroll just to get them to approve stuff that is spelled out in the contract over the past few months. Same reason I refuse to fly for holiday pay if they offer it anymore. Last time I did payroll denied my claim for a bogus reason and I had to fight for a couple months to get paid what they owed me. I just don’t want to deal with it. Make it a hassle to work extra? That’s fine I just won’t work.

The best is when you pick up a trip on a scheduled day off, then they refuse to pay SDO pay, because you got paid CCP for a different trip that month.

There is however a section in the contract that spells this out. It’s in one of the examples.
