Vote No, do not bid ELOA
#21
I have no idea what this is about.
The contract allows management to unilaterally offer enhanced leaves of absence. They are not bypassing the Union.
There is nothing to vote on.
Why anyone would accept their offer , I have no idea. It's not like its a chance to Non Rev to Europe or something.
Any pilot with any amount of seniority could bid long call reserve, not fly and still get paid 75hours.

If the company wants to offer 19 hour paid leaves, let them. If you want it, take it. If you don’t, don’t. I know several who have taken it. It appeals to service members and those with other streams of income. My guess is there will be other leaves offered as the summer goes on and flying is still reduced for June/July.

Exactly. Mainline hasn't even been canceling them until less than 24 hours prior. Go on at night the day before I leave everything is good. Wake up the next day and check and every single flight cancels.

Nothing at Envoy either, my guess is that it's not going to be offered again. One of the executives, didn't catch the name of who said it, but we're going to be flying a large percentage of our domestic flying in July. Figure that'll be mostly us regionals.
