You’d hope so with these reduced schedules!

I have personally witnessed dozens and dozens of planes in the ROW boneyard where this exact thing was done. Old shiny MDs and 757s, as well as the grey on 767 and others. Ports and engines taped up. Engines or parts stripped. American name and eagle logos on the fuselages painted over, the AA letters painted over the tail for those that had it, colored sections of the tail with the flag/piano key livery. No clue why, but that’s what they’ve done.

The arrogance of a the PSA pilot group never disappoints. I know it’s not the entire pilot group (just like anywhere else), but you seem to have more than your fare share for some reason.

Thats mainly due to us having SAP. The company historically has to carry higher reserve staffing to account for every pilot who is a Round 1 line holder SAPing down to 65 hours ontop of typical reasons of reserve staffing.

It’s the airline, not the pilot group I loathe. I have friends that went to Mesa, most moved on but a few are still there. Mesa on your resume is no different than PSA or any other regional.
The regionals are built on pattern bargaining and it’s no secret Mesa has been the lowest paid operator suppressing the wages of the entire
industry for years.
Don’t mistake that for superiority, I don’t think any regional pilot group is better than anyone else. I just want to see pilots get paid what they’re worth. Even the highest paid are still undervalued and underpaid at the regionals.

You actively “loathe” another company? Wow, I don’t know what to say about that. It’s true that we have always been, literally 2-3 dollars behind everyone else ( I think I started at $22/hr while Envoy, and I believe PSA were $24-26/hr) -certainly not enough of a difference to commute for.
when we voted on the current contract (I’m not going to defend this piece of junk contract - I was a no voter) it again brought us within
a few bucks of everyone else. Right after that, the other carrier rates went up again and we are now further behind.
Given the current situation none of this really matters though, I’m afraid we are all in for some major changes, and I wish all of the pilot groups the best of luck. Let’s wait for all the dust to settle before we resume the “My lousy regional, is better than your lousy regional” game.
Oh, I didn’t mistake your comment as superiority - it was arrogant. Totally different.
