that’s because it’s not how HR hires, and that’s really unfortunate. On the other hand, there could be grammatical errors all over the app, sections not filled out all the way, etc. TT isn’t all they’re looking for, that just puts you across a “base” line to even be qualified to be looked at.

Good luck to everyone applying anywhere, proofread and have someone else proofread your app for errors.

could be an attitude thing, got a friend in hiring at another regional. He says some of their biggest problem pilots are the guys they picked up out of shutdown shops. They’re just mad at the world. So you may have more time but also don’t forget to check yourself.

Another perspective that it’s taken me a long time to appreciate and I think doesn’t really make sense to pilots who are constantly striving to be the best is that HR does not want the best. Their goal is not to seek out the greatest pilots. They want to screen out problem employees.

Which company would you rather run: One with all competent pilots or one with 100% awesome pilots, but a couple who constantly complain and one who does elective castrations in the hotel room during his layovers.

seems they are passing on a very qualified and well rounded applicant. I am very sorry. Also, as a former XJT guy, they should give some preference as a company that went under. Is PSA ALPA? just seems bad form. Who is getting picked up? KEEP THE APPS going! Don’t loose motivation, you’ll get picked up somewhere!

Just wanted to update. Recently completed the interview process with 9E and received a CJO. I am extremely happy and fortunate.

Just goes to show you never know how these things will go. Thank you for the encouragement above 🙏

God bless good luck to all

Has anyone gotten the TBNT after the HR video interview? I did mine over a month ago, and haven’t heard a thing. Nothing to move on or the tbnt.

Anyone seeing any more movement out of PSA? Things have quieted down around here. Still waiting for a call myself...

Movement has been stagnant for covid, but recently it will start to pick up quite a bit. The flow is expected to resume in October, and lots of folks are leaving for other jobs.

Just received my offer letter this morning. Applied 13 Mar on PSA website (had AirlineApps in for months but that never showed on my dashboard until a week or so after my direct application), HR interview submitted 12 April, Technical 11 May, tentative class date 5 July. Interviewer mentioned hiring more than 50/month.

I've seen seniority numbers change a little. Not anything near pre covid but seems to be a little.

Someone on Reddit was saying something about a training contract which I have not heard from anyone else. Your offer letter didn’t say anything about this I assume?
