PSA and other regional class dates

Did I mention a full service breakfast was included with snacks 24/7 and every major chain restaurant in Dayton including Wal Mart (for those of you lookiing for a career change) within a three minute walk? So instead of trying to find something bad and negative to gripe about, try focusing on the positive side of things.
If you want in at PSA while the getting is good I'll write a referral and split the bonus with you 60/40. I get 60.. Send me a private message.

If you're mad that PSA took a contract and Envoy rolled the dice and lost their ass off, then get over it. Eagle had their chance, three of them, and AA is playing for keeps. Envoy pilots, when will you learn not to slap the hand that feeds you! negative to gripe about, try focusing on the positive side of things. .
As for telling Envoy pilots what they need to do you need to just shut it cockroach.

Envoy pilots along with all the other pilot groups could have stood strong and fought for what they are worth, but as long as there's one cockroach willing to do it for CHEAP it ruins it for everybody. Ever hear of supply and demand??? Can you imagine the solidarity and strength of the pilots if PSA said no to concessions, then Envoy, then all the others right down the line??? Do you realize they would HAVE to pay pilots more instead of sending them back to the dark ages? Of course you don't....

So that's what the C in Big C stands for?

I don't get all the hate. He didn't vote in the contract, he wasn't there! Yeah you can say that "he's supporting the race to the bottom by going there", but have you looked at the landscape from a new hire's perspective? There aren't a lot of better options out there. Other than compass, skywest (heard a year and a half for a line?), or AWAC( if they don't shrink) there aren't really many better options, and maybe those don't work for him bc of basing anyway. Their contract and pay rates are far from the bottom and that SAP they have is +1 for QOL which everybody agrees should be priority #1 anyway, pay caps are not the end of the world at a non-shrinking airline (notice I didn't say growing bc I know somebody would argue). So why all the hate, those 900s were not going to Envoy regardless and they aren't going to be taking your EJets either. Those will most likely be at somewhere like Mesa or Republic that has a much worse contract than PSA from what I've seen and heard, but nobody blasts anybody for going there for that "less than 2 year upgrade" everybody(including friends of mine) is flocking there for. Hate to interrupt this thread with logic though, please carry on.

No worries somehow Envoy forgot they and their former MEC Chairman started all of this. Same group of MEC guys who in March 2013 sat at a Courtyard across from national office saying how they hope to staple the East scum below them in the merger.... All were laughing and giggling.... So pardon me if I have zero sympathy for those guys who started off by proposing a B Scale.... Caps are by no means as atrocious as what you all proposed, received, and then had your status reps turn down.... Way to go Tony and your AE negotiations committee....

I hate forums and I hate reading the garbage that people post. For all of you that bag on regional carriers like PSA, shut the F*$K up and get out of aviation. You're not worth the brain cell my eye ball burns trying to read your garbage. If you can't say anything positive, then don't say anything at all. If you're mad that PSA took a contract and Envoy rolled the dice and lost their ass off, then get over it. Eagle had their chance, three of them, and AA is playing for keeps. Envoy pilots, when will you learn not to slap the hand that feeds you! That wasn't a question..
Yes the industry sucks, but you all knew this fact coming in. You can run with the big dogs or go play with the puppies. If you can't handle the one year of pain, go work for Wal Mart. Better yet, McDonalds. At least at McDonalds you'll be in the company of others that whine and complain as much as those of you blogging on this forum.
PSA does fill all 30 seats in every class every other Monday and I am proud to work here. The staff is very polite and the company is growing faster than they can recruit pilots to fill the airplanes. I interviewed with every regional and was offered jobs by all of them. Literally, all of them. It was a toss up between going to Compass or PSA. In the end I chose PSA because it was an easier one hop commute, the pay was close to the same, and upgrade was faster. Compass has slowed pilot staffing to almost a screeching hault. In fact, I just came out of the hiring pool today and was offered a July 17th class. Nevertheless, I will keep trucking with PSA because the company as a whole is moving in the right direction. At least at PSA I get paid Per Diem, monthly guarantee, and I get my own hotel room with a King Size bed at the Holiday Inn during training. Did I mention a full service breakfast was included with snacks 24/7 and every major chain restaurant in Dayton including Wal Mart (for those of you lookiing for a career change) within a three minute walk? If you interview with PSA today, you will be in a new hire class in less than a month and in Captain upgrade in two and a half years. If you interview in five months then you'll probably upgrade in three and a half to four years. Why wait until Envoy furloughs 47% of their pilot workforce or Endevour downgrades the next poor soul. If you want in at PSA while the getting is good I'll write a referral and split the bonus with you 60/40. I get 60.. Send me a private message.

95% of folks at PSA interviewing with Airways are getting hired. Only a few that haven't put in the required effort have been turned down. With the departure of the current President, guys will no longer be held. The company has plenty of new hires in the pipeline right now to keep things going strong for the next 3-4 months. If filling classes becomes an issue, I suspect it won't happen until early 2015, which most of the hiring for the 900s will be done by that point. I've jumpseated on plenty of Eagle flights lately, not a problem. The denying of the jump seat talk is just that, talk.
