A small pilot group screws over a big pilot group, then wonders why they get bashed?

Not wasting any more of my time on this.

You guys still got your no vote everyone wanted. You were never getting CRJs due to AAG wanting single fleet type at wholly owns.

It looks like the only screwing being done is by AAG.

It was a waste of time for you to post on this thread in the first place.

Oh wow, you're a piece of work. Just keep trying to justify your actions and make yourself feel better.

As opposed to a big pilot group screwing over small pilot group is fine?? I don't see your logic here. AE and PSA doesn't even share routes. AE is losing all their flying to Skywest, RAH and XJT while you're here talking smack about PSA. That really makes me laugh.

Either you're really uneducated or you're just ignorant. Or both...

I'm not justifying anything. In fact, I feel pretty good about the stance I took.

All I said was that PSA's vote obviously didn't influence Eagle's. They voted no. That's what everyone wanted and that's what they got......A no vote.

If I did feel the need to justify anything that I do it certainly wouldn't be to placate you, or anyone else on this hostility laced, hate filled forum.

These topics are here because someone either wants help, or is interested in information but you clowns come on here and blow up every thread with your uninformed, fact-less, ignorant statements.

"What does PSA stand for".....

Give me a break.

What exactly are "critical" days?

And also, how soon could a new hire expect to see a schedule with 105-110 credit with 13 or 14 days off?

Whenever you are not on reserve. Which could be 1 month or never. That being said, you won't be handed a schedule like that. You have to manipulate it through the SAP, and then open time after that.

Also if we ever get properly staffed it will be a little more difficult to get these results. Not impossible, but not as easy as it is right now.

Critical days are days when there are not enough pilots to staff the flying for that day.

So can you just pick up critical days or do you get called to pick it up?

You can pick up open time or trade one of your current trips for a trip in the open time bank. Adding or trading into open time is paid is at two different rates. The normal rate and the critical rate. When scheduling calls you on a day off, you are paid at the junior man rate which is also different. The bottom line is, you need to know the contract really well and understand how the electronic bidding/scheduling software works to make extra money. You don't need to be senior, just a line holder. You can get a line within a month at TYS and DAY after finishing IOE. CLT is about three months after finishing IOE to get a line.
