Quote: Think of it this way:

If I walk up to a bus stop and tell 10 year old kid that I want his lunch money or I'm going to knock the crap out of him I get lunch money.
But if the rest of the 10 yr old kids on that bus swarmed you and fought back in defense of each other you'd think twice about trying that again wouldn't you?

And AW will be merged in to one of the aag owned regionals. Pilot supply driven

Quote: Whiskey will be getting ipads and raises very soon
That's great and I'm happy for you. You are already one of the highest paid out there. Getting raises would definitely be impressive.

You are also not wholly owned and are therefore not just a cost on a spreadsheet to your CEO.

Do you have a link to a TA or LOA stating these raises?

Quote: I think your anger should be at ALPA national. We all work for a Union. And this one allowed some pilots to get 12 year pay while others 18.
It goes against the whole principle of a Union. Can you imagine if AA mainline said that they were going to cap the wages at year 8. Unless of course you were already at 8 or above?
This only happens at the regional level because ALPA national doesn't give us a thought. We are beggars grasping at crumbs. This time something bigger fell our way and PSA took it not Eagle.
I'm confused, you're saying a "bigger crumb" fell to PSA, are you implying that the most recent contract was a positive thing? I don't think anyone sees it that way, some PSA guys see it as a necessary evil, and I understand the view point, but I've never heard anyone refer to it positively.

I'm saying that it might have been a matter of survival.

But they don't.

They may swarm, but they only swarm against their own bully. Then they stand there and watch while our bully continues beating the siht out of us yelling "we did our part".

That's how this whole thing works, and is why it will never be fixed.

Quote: We helped the company out in bankruptcy and in return were promised new airplanes. He did not honor that.

What has he done so far? Nothing. He has simply enjoyed a merger. He has not really done a damn thing. Time will be the teller for Dougweiser. Anybody with 6 DUIs(well3 and 3 he got out of) is no leader in my book.
Apparently he is a leader in DUI's.

The only "bully" for all of us, as far as I'm concerned, is greedy airline management who believe its ok to continually line their own pockets while at the same time asking trained professionals who fly multi-million dollar aircraft with hundreds of passengers safely, every day, to take furthers cuts in pay and benefits. Those trained professionals, btw, are already grossly underpaid.

This is the bully that we all share. Why can't we unite against "him" and say "No More!"?

All but 1 have done that... The problem lies with the one that didn't!
