What was so bad about it?

The culture here is no worse than it is at any other regional.

I get a bunch of time off with high credit. Training dept is just fine as is maint. Everything else is irrelevant.

Where do you work now? Just curious. And how long have you been flying pt121?

I disagree. I'm at another regional now. Yes, all regionals are suck-fests, but some are better than others. PSA is way at the bottom of the list. I'll give credit where credit is due- yes, mx was pretty good. Yes, the training department was pretty good. That's it. Scheduling sucked, dispatch sucked, management sucked (including pilot support management), a lot of the flying we did sucked. While I did say mx was pretty good, I frequently had an APU deferred in the middle of the summer. Sucks. In a -200? Sucks REAL bad. The hotels were hit or miss. It's not just about pay.

I have been in the industry since 1994. WE at Comair went on strike back in 2001 for 89 days to get a decent contract. It was industry leading. Chautauqua agreed to a contract a few months later that under cut our gains. 9-11 did have an impact on that I will concede. But my point is all pilot groups since then have had to deal with the main lines pay to play scheme. It started many years before the PSA pilots agreed to their contract. Many. many years. So when you say we have "ruined it' for every one else think back to what may of been if Chautauqua, then Eagle and the rest had been able to attain Comair plus 1%.

I thought we were encouraged to have a discussion? I'm not "flaming" anyone, or "baiting" anyone, or whatever. This is a discussion about PSA. My opinion of PSA is that it sucks. I see what you're trying to say about the contract. I'm not saying I agree with what you guys did, but I'm saying I see your viewpoint. Contract stuff aside, and based on what I said earlier, my constructive opinion of PSA is that it sucks. You would recommend people to go there, I would not.
