Comair plus 1% right after 9-11? How realistic is that??

My point was it has been going in this direction since after we signed that contract. PSA did not all of the sudden sign a concessionary contract out of the blue. Market forces going back years is what has brought us to where we are today.

27 start Monday. Rumor of possible street captains in the near future. Upgrade times are looking at dropping to 18-24 months.

Why hire street captains when a lot of the guys here have a good amount of 121 time?

That list will soon run out, anyone hired within the last year and a half won't have it unless they came from elsewhere

Is hiring street captains a way to temporarily save a regional that nobody wants to go to because everyone is chasing that precious 1000tpic?

She's done this with other guys at different company's as well. I nominate her for Tool of Month.

PSA is not having trouble filling classes at this point. Did you even read the rest of the thread?

I don't know where this rumor came from. I haven't heard it.(which doesn't mean it's not true)

We have plenty right now with the requisite 121 time to upgrade.

At the current pace of upgrades it would take probably 6 months or so to get to some very low longevity guys. During that time more and more pilots are going to reach the required time.

There are also a pretty hefty amount of senior FOs bypassing upgrade right now for vacation or not wanting to be on reserve.
