If I get kicked out of envoy, I hope AAG won't be too disappointed if they don't find me at another one of their feeders, as a new hire... I am not interested in wasting another 5 years making them money while I eat bologna sandwiches.

I feel like Envoy peeps wouldn't make a lateral move, especially PSA. Agreeded?

PSA Updates

I simply hope that PSA and PDT realize that about the time they enjoy that new upgrade, it will be time for another carriers pilots ( Possibly one of the groups you stepped over today on your way to that quick upgrade) to repay the favor and maybe they even take some of your planes, maybe even forcing your downgrade. Don't think it can happen to you? Think you'll flow before your next contract? Think again, you have a better chance at winning the lottery. Thousands before you thought the same thing. You guys have convinced yourselves you did no harm, but you kept the vicious cycle going to the delight of management. Please always remember with cycles that the regional today with lo upgrade times is the next one to fall. This is exactly what a whipsaw is and exactly what you agreed was acceptable with your yes votes. I'm not going to condemn you today, but don't ***** when the favor gets repaid with interest. It will happen to you someday, it's simply a matter of time and statistics. Just remember it is exactly what you signed up for. It was in your new contract. Look it up. The wording they used was growth and opportunity.

Yeah. Now you have some time to spend learning to read, speak and understand English.

Wow nice job at taking a stab at him. You must feel real good that you can point out his grammatical errors.

No doubt it will be a challenge, but I think 700 is a little on the high side, I would put the actual number around 500. The training dept is capable of training 50-60/mo and there may well be 50-60 some months. They probably need 45/mo to account for growth and attrition. If more make it through great, they are ahead of the game.

Right, wrong, indifferent...I see 75-100 Mesa pilots that live in clt making the lateral move. There have been large numbers from comair. As expressjet/asa continues to park planes, more will continue to come from there. So far, the classes have been full and we aren't canceling flights due to staffing issues. As long as there is a perception of a quick upgrade, classes will be full. Currently upgrade sits at 2.3 yrs and will be 1.5 yrs in about a month or so. Bottom line, the most junior captain hasn't been hired yet with Parker's latest decision to transfer planes from envoy.
