Why are they advertiseing a tentative agreement that's not officially voted in yet

Cause they're trying to save their a$$es and advertise a meager increase as some huge deal. Look at the language, "double". How impressive would it be if they advertised the truth "4 to 8 after stupid and easily manipulated numbers keep it from ever increasing." The deal is still better than what we got but they will lie as much as they need to in order to keep the bodies coming.

Management has the employees convinced that if they don't vote yes, they will never see an increase to American. The truth is pretty clear with this advertisement. PSA management needs this TA to pass in order to attract new hires.

If pilots vote no, they will have to come back with an increase in flow to 8-10 a month and direct flow. It has to happen in order to attract new hires.

Everyone in the industry seems to know this, except PSA pilots.

Only the first 500 pilots on the seniority list care about flow. Ask pilot number 1200 if he gives a sh*t, he doesn't. He is here for the DEC or quick upgrade that's it. Even at 20 flows per month pilot 1200 is 5 years out. Nobody is waiting around 5 years to do anything.

Nobody here cares that much. Everybody here knows they will be back.

I'm in the 300s and I don't give a damn about flow. My NO vote has been cast. I'd go from 5 years to 3. Big whoop. I don't plan on being here in 3 years anyway. Many of my similar seniority colleges feel the same way and are voting accordingly. We can do better. The company will be back as they want, they need that carrot to keep tricking people to come through the door.

When will all the voting be over and confirmed?

Thanks for the when but the where is still unanswered.

AWAC got approved for a CTP course to be held in CLT several months back.

I wonder if they are just piggy backing off them, or setting up a whole new deal.

October 20th is our closing. I just want it to be bored down so we can clear up some language issues that affect the day to day lives of us. If they want to increase the flow a bit then cool. But the grey areas or more like fluorescent orange to people that read all 19 pages.

I love the talk of fixing LOA 6. "A pilot who wants to fly should be able to fly." Sure kick me off my 20 hour trip because you, the company, need my spot to accomplish training. Then tell me I'm more than able to pick up low time crap and lose my pay protection cause I "traded." Or you could just offer to buy us off a displacement or give us additional flying while pay protected. It's in the "mid-trip" language. Why not make it just the displacement language?

I'm not privy to any special knowledge just reading between the lines and assuming the worst.

Wouldn't be surprised. This company can't start anything new on their own or innovate in any way.
