I'm not saying you can't have an opinion. Just do everyone a favor and say why you think it's going to increase 10%. Are we talking departures or pax? What about Delta trying to bring more regional flying in-house? Saying you predict the big 3 pilot groups are going to cave on scope is not a real thought.

All good points, but those costs can be mitigated with pay banding or strictly by time in service like UPS and Continental used to do.

Another way is single type. Notice the trend to move all toward the E-175. All of the CRJ's are going to PSA, single type. E175s are replacing everything. Bringing PDT into the jet age won't take too long because it's a small airline. Merging it with Envoy will help with the transition faster as new Jet captains are paired with senior jet first officers.

Agreed on that number, maybe as low as 30%, but only as part of a premium carrier.

The 65% figure would be a good percentage for both low-cost carriers and premium airline regionals.

PSA class date 2 Feb. Couple questions:

1. Is there a domicile that will allow for more time/overnights in domicile than the others?
2. After IOE, how many hours a month are the FOs normally flying?

TYS guys are getting round 1 lines a month after reserve. You can adjust your schedule with SAP and fly as much as you want (max 98 block per month) or as little as you want (65 min). Most junior guys are getting tys.

How do you domiciles work? Other than Charlotte, I notice you have a Knoxville and Dayton domicile but your route map has hubs in Philly and DC with very little flying out of Knoxville and Dayton. Lots of deadheading or pick up airplanes out of maintenance?
