Not at all. My point is it will suck on the bottom of any list. Besides, the argument against the flow is ridiculous considering even if the flow doesn't improve (which it should, at-least slightly), there are carriers with no flow whatsoever. So considering your response, I will extend my question- is it better to be on the bottom of a list as an FO, at a stagnant regional, with no career progression of ANY kind?

TSA was the first, not PSA.

Somewhat true. However CQFO is slightly different, both in-terms of flying position and pay.

It is appreciably better for those FOs already on the seniority list. Plus, CQFOs at TSA will hold CA positions by winter.

My guess is Envoy will be next to hire street Captains. There is going to be massive upgrades going on there. According to one of the threads, they are projecting 230 upgrades by December 31st, 2016 (19 months).

Last time i talked with my friend who did the CQFO, he was flying majority captain trips and said he'd hold captain in June. Haven't talked with him since though.

Well I spent 1.5 years as CA 4th from the bottom till we furloughed. Displaced to FO for 6.5 more years never holding more than 12 days off except for 2 or 3 months. Never re-upgraded and was hammered on the SLI. Spent a total of 6.5 years on reserve with more ready reserve than you can imagine. Lost pay from starting at 43 an hour and leaving at 38 an hour. The experience as CA gave me enough PIC to move on to a major. So yes it totally sucked but I would have never made it to the major without that PIC time. I paid my dues.

GoJets did it in 2005.

And that's the sole benefit to being hired as a street CA.
