They are not that good. If they were, then they would have been able to make money with XJT since they are the ones that negotiated all of their contracts.

It's a bit ironic seeing someone try to sell *not* having a flow as a selling point in favor of SkyWest and then rationalize that claim on the basis of..."Kool Aid".

Only if SkyWest pilots are drinking Kool aid. Maybe they're actually being treated better? Do you think Southwest pilots are drinking Kool Aid?
The Mesa pilot candidates that believe their recruiting video are drinking LSD, not Kool Aid. If you've worked at SkyWest and you think their selling Kool Aid, we'll talk. Then you've got perspective to base that on.
What's ironic is at places like Compass, pilots are drinking the Kool Aid and laughing at SkyWest. What I mean is lose 6 planes more than likely due to performance, management says it's due to a poor fit, the pilots go "Management must be right" then bow down and praise how great of a job Compass is doing. All the while watching SkyWest get aircraft.

What others have said aside, what I was taking issue with is the fact that you insinuated that the only reason to go to PDT was because of the "carrot" which is flow. Which is a ridiculous insinuation, due to the multitude of other reasons I listed. Not even saying SkyWest is a bad choice, its not, but downplaying PDT because they HAVE a flow is silly. Even if you don't care about flow, which I don't either, there are many other reasons someone might choose Piedmont over SkyWest.

I'm just pointing out what you said. You say that not having a "Kool-Aid flow" is a good thing about Skywest. To use your logic, if it's a plus that OO doesn't have a flow, then it would follow that having a job waiting for you at AA is a detrimental quality about the AA regionals.

Don't drink their kool-aid! Our kool-aid is way better and doesn't even come with a free job!

Whatever floats your sugary flavored boat, man.

True, but the folks at TK in Denver have said they actively meter from their UAX carriers. So a guaranteed job is only as good as their word. AA likely does the same with WO.

All that aside yes the 3 WO AA are a good deal, but the OP limited themselves just to 3 regionals.
And in my mind all Kool aid is bad.

They don't need to be. They are "mainline" Skywest.
