Express Jet United CPP

If this has been already discussed I apologise. My question is what happens if someone is accepted into the CPP and they get furloughed or transitioned out of the United flying? Are you still considered in the CPP or do you lose everything?

Ha ha, questions that ONLY UAL can answer with their vague/gray/one way language that is the CPP

The CPP was opened up to DFW ERJ crews, there was no discrimination. Not like it matters since there will not be any more DFW.

The CRJ side wasn't eligible for the CPP.

And unless you're above a certain seniority in the CURRENT ERJ seniority list, don't expect it to work out. Assuming you get through the abysmal "acceptance" rate.

I'm still in touch with a lot of friends there. The CPP is a bit of a joke.

But hey, it helped keep the sick call rate down last summer....

Just curious. What's the current CPP acceptance rate for those that interview? I seem to remember the Pinnacle/Delta guaranteed interview pass rate wasn't very high initially.

The XJT CPP initially was low, probably for the same reasons the SSP was. Unlike the SSP, it's NOT a guaranteed interview. Just a guaranteed HPI.

But as of a few months ago, it was a tad over 50%. And from what I hear, they're around 50% of the list on HPI send outs.

They don't "accept" A LOT of good people.

Thanks for the info.

Will ExpressJet fly E170/175 or CRJ-700 for UAX?
They have a commitment for a few years with UAL for the CPP right?

XJT has no 170/175s and Skywest isn't gonna give them any...

United is also all scoped out in the 70/76 seat segment.

Did not the agreement get extended to Q1 2019? I can't remember.

Doesn't matter, they will be down to ~ERJ's by this year's end.
