I dont even think he had an ATP, so that kinda makes me think he was full of ******.
But....do you guys think it would be possible?
Air Canada's website doesn't state specific hours....

Wait, so does Eagle require an ATP? Or just the written?

You have to be 21 because you're gonna need to drink to put up with the long upgrade.

Sorry I just couldn't resist. Not sure why the 21 year age requirement. And IIRC Eagle doesn't require the ATP written. Check here:

age 21 rule is b.s if u ask me...
anyone that knows management knows why most airlines ask for 21?

(don't give the "kids dont belong in the r.j" theories)

the gap between 18 and 21 doesn't make ANYONE more mature....

unless ofcourse you lost your virginity:D

That is weird, he probably was full of sh*t. Especialy it being the 320, becuase they only recently started sending new hires to the 320. But AirCanada only requires a comercial, multi license with a high school diploma and 1000 hours. So I dunno maybe he is some VP's son or something.

Same as in Europe?
Probably cause you basically "buy" your job?
You pay for all your training....IOW you buy your own A320 type rating...
I know they pay it off for you once you get hired by an airline there...KLM atleast does....
