Hello:
I am leaving LAX (Los Angeles, CA) tomorrow for my RAH interview on Thursday March 08, 2007. What I would like to know is: Bases for all three companies broken down by company! Anyone know sim profile? |

Anyone know sim profile? Chautauqua CRJ: SDF IAH CRP Chautauqua 135/140/145: CMH SDF BUF RIC GSO STL IND Republic 170: DCA PIT IND DEN Shuttle 170 CMH IND ORD If the profile is still the same as it was when I interviewed, it's nothing major. T/O climb to 3,000' (steep turn?) go do a hold, direct to LOM, full ILS, missed approach, lose the engine, clean it up declare emergency, done. Takes about 30-45 minutes if you're doing it all right. Sim is very touchy, fly with the trim, change the power as little as possible. Don't ever use the "cruise" power setting they give you. |
Me
What airports do they use for sim ride?
What IAP's do they use as well? |

Couple of Questions
How senior is DCA or Pitt for FO's? Upgrade time on the 170?
Here's another, can you go FO 170 to ERJ/CRJ Capt? |

Here's another, can you go FO 170 to ERJ/CRJ Capt? DCA is going just a little bit more senior than PIT. There is supposed to be alot of growth at PIT. The last several classes have had FO's go to PIT, DCA, and DEN. |
I'll tell you this much, this week at RAH has been 170 week. The last two days, most people were hired into the 170, WITHOUT THE 1500TT. The airport for the sim eval is IND. Not much has changed. The interview hasn't changed much. Some unlucky ones got Bart Wooldridge in their interview the other day. He seems like a great guy in the hour I got to talk to him, but he grilled some people on systems of their current airplane.
Pilot754, my class will be coming through the break room hourly tomorrow while you guys are in there waiting. I'll try to say hi. |

I have an interview either monday or tuesday. The interview is in IAH. I didn't ask for it or anything. Does this mean that I'll more than likely go CRJ or could they still ship me anywhere? What are upgrade times like? Is there any real benefit to flying a 170 over a CRJ as an FO? Does it look any better ect? Or do people just want to fly something "Boeing" style?
**I'm reading some gouges and they keep mentioning a study guid for Republic.. Where can I find this. They called me to interview Monday which is out of nowhere and I need to make sure I use my time studying the proper materials. Duck |
Just make sure you know what asymmetric g is...you'll do OK.

When you initially log in above all the gouges you'll see links for "Edit Account Info", "Edit Gouge Alerts" and right below that is a link for Study Guides. Click on the one for Chautauqua. Edit - When I interviewed they hadn't filled in the answers on the study guide. Some of those answers are incomplete. I would make sure you look up all questions and know them rather than just trusting what you read on their. The questions will help you through the written though. |

I'm interviewing on monday as well but in IND. If I get hired I'm hoping to get IAH though since I'm from Texas, anybody know what the story is with where they are sending everybody? I have about 1750TT and 450ME. I'm new to this website also. Thanks.

Was republic your number one pick? I'm up in the air with skywest and republic but I have only gotten an interview with republic so far. How long did it take skywest to call you, they've had my resume for about two weeks now.

Dont tell anybody, but I used to have dreams about the 170:eek:
|
I couldn't believe it when they called me. I put my resume in on a tuesday and they called me wednesday at about 9 in the morning. Pretty suprised especially considering that I can't start until may because I don't graduate from tech until then. I'm a cfi in lubbock. My interview in on the coming monday in Ind.
